What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We are THE tech savvy personal injury law firm in Kentucky. We use proprietary software to predict the insurance company's software and efficiently communicate with their software to maximize claims for our hurt clients. Our clients are able to sign and return documents from their smartphone, text or email questions to our office that are automatically saved into their client file, review medical records we collect on their behalf from their computer or smartphone through a link we can text or email, and even download our free Morrin Law Injury Help App that will notify their emergency contacts if they have been in a car accident (similar to OnStar but free).

Beyond creating a relatively easy communication and working experience for our hurt clients in one of their most difficult times of need, we are Kentucky's top personal injury recovery professionals because we almost exclusively focus on Kentucky personal injury claims against insurance companies; making sure our clients obtain the medical care they need, and a way to pay for it, after a serious injury in Kentucky caused by a car accident, fall at a business, dog attack, or other serious injury caused by negligence of another. We don't take just any case, but only personal injury or insurance cases in which we believe we can add significant value to our client's bottom line. Not every case is a good fit and we will be the first to tell you if you should not hire a private attorney for your case. We believe we have a duty to educate the public with the truth about the insurance landscape, always protecting the interest of our clients and would-be clients first. Always educating; never selling. Our entire injury recovery team works and lives in Kentucky. We believe in being a force for good in Kentucky on behalf of our family, friends, and neighbors.

Our personal injury lawyer and team are located in Richmond, Kentucky, just south of Lexington, but our team uses our technology and know-how to help injured Kentuckians all over the state every day. Our clients, and even potential clients, are able to sign documents from their smartphone, allowing us to get to work even if you are still recovering in the hospital or you are immobilized at home.

Morrin Law Office
Rob Morrin

Robert "Rob" A. Morrin was raised in Richmond, Kentucky, along with his three siblings, by his parents Joan, a loving mother who delayed her own education and nursing career to stay home to teach her children, and Robert Morrin, a retired Christian pastor and educator for over a quarter of a century. From his parents Rob obtained an appreciation and passion for doing good by others as a way of life that translated into the business philosophy of the Morrin Law Office.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University in four years, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After personally experiencing and hearing of so many horror stories about how those in power--corporations, ultra-wealthy, politicians, lawyers, etc.--habitually take advantage of individuals and those who lack the power or means to obtain justice, Rob thought that there must be a better way to do business and to interact with the world that doesn't leave anyone feeling like their head was stepped on. Because of this experience, and his blue-collar upbringing, Rob chose law school as a means to 1) be the change he wanted to see in the world, 2) help others with work that fulfills his soul, and 3) last, but certainly not least, provide for his family.

Upon graduation from EKU, Rob immediately enrolled at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, having received the distinguished Henry Clay Scholarship. While at Chase, he served as a Member of the Honor Council, a Student Representative in the Student Bar Association, a Congressional Intern for Congressman Ben Chandler on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., a Group Leader for the pro bono project Water for Haiti, and a Criminal Defense Intern with the Kentucky Innocence Project. After graduating from Chase and passing the Kentucky Bar Examination on his first attempt, he moved home to Richmond, Kentucky to establish the Morrin Law Office, where he has served the Commonwealth of Kentucky as dedicated personal injury lawyer.

Rob never expected to become a personal injury lawyer, but he was surprised to find that injured Kentuckians were routinely being taken advantage of by the insurance companies; often receiving pennies on the dollar when filing a claim without the help of an injury professional. Rob is proud of the way his team stands up to the insurance companies to make sure their clients are treated with dignity when they have an injury claim. The insurance companies are happy to accept the monthly premium payments and the Morrin Law Office is happy to make sure the insurance companies hold up their end of the bargain when the time comes.

Rob is admitted to practice in all state courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Eastern District of the United States District Court. He is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association, Fayette County Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association.

Rob has also worked in cooperation with #EndPartisanship.org to defend and promote the principle that every voter is entitled to an equal right of meaningful participation in the election process, whether or not they choose to affiliate with a political party.

Rob has been selected for membership in the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 which is a professional organization composed of the top trial attorneys in each state who are under the age of 40. Membership into the "Top 40 Under 40" is by invitation only and is extended to those trial lawyers who practice in the fields of criminal defense, and/or civil plaintiff law. Those who are invited have demonstrated superior qualifications, trial results and leadership in their fields of practice as young trial lawyers. The selection process is multi-phased and includes peer nominations and third-party research.

Other awards Rob has received for superior services in personal injury include 1) Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney by Attorney and Practice Magazine, 2) 10 Best Attorney by The American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and 3) AVVO's Client's Choice Award.

When he is not protecting the legal interests of his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, volunteering, keeping up with local sports and politics, patronizing local businesses, running (often with his German Shepherd, Yogi), and playing at least one weekly session of pickup basketball.
