Attorney Carlos Leach received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. After law school, Mr. Leach decided it was time for a change of scenery (and weather) and moved to sunny Orlando, Florida where he began his legal career defending employers and insurers in employment disputes. After two years of honing his craft from the defense perspective, Mr. Leach decided it was time to fight for the people, not the powerful.
Prior to starting his own firm, Attorney Leach was the head of employment division at one of the nation's largest plaintiff firms. Since 2006, Attorney Leach has been dedicated to helping employees, not only in Florida, but across the country, in a variety of cases involving unpaid overtime, minimum wages, tips, Family Medical Leave disputes, discrimination, whistleblower complaints, etc.
Mr. Leach has represented hundreds of employees who have been wronged by their employer in wage and hour, discrimination, FMLA, retaliation, and whistleblower cases. He has been appointed lead class counsel in more than 20 class action cases, including several that ended with multi-million dollar settlements. In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Leach continues to be recognized by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine on the list of Florida Rising Stars list of Super Lawyers since 2013.
