What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is very important that each client is educated and understands each issue within their particular case. Mr. Wallace prides himself on making himself available to answer any questions his clients may have regarding their case and/or the process. Mr. Wallace believes that not only is the client the boss, but the client needs to be fully informed about each and every aspect of their case so that the client can make the proper informed decision with confidence.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Mr. Wallace believes that mediation is an effective tool for most cases. Often times, cases can be resolved at mediation so long as the case is handled properly and ready to mediated. Mr. Wallace treats every case as if the case will be taken to trial; by handling a case with a goal in mind to settle without taking the case to trial, the handling attorney is doing the client a disservice. Thus, each case is treated as if the case will eventually be presented to a jury of peers within the community to decide its outcome (even though the majority of cases resolve without every making it to a jury trial).
