Law Office of Michael R. Young

Law Office of Michael R. Young

Firm Overview

The firm was established after I left a mid-size prestigious firm in the pursuit of serving clients with more personalized and in-depth legal assistance.

The firm focuses exclusively on helping clients who are currently struggling with family law; they are able to offer dynamic advice to all clients no matter if they are facing domestic violence issues or a divorce. Due to client-attorney confidentiality, I do not discuss the details of previous cases. To learn more about how both me and my firm can help you, do not hesitate to contact my firm as soon as you can.

My firm practices divorce law in San Bernardino and Riverside.

I handle cases involving child custody and support, spousal support, and mediation.

I can help you with a family law matter in San Bernardino County.

I handle domestic violence cases, restraining orders, prenuptial agreements, mothers' rights, grandparents' rights, fathers' rights, and relocations.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I love the challenge that family law presents. As it is as wide-ranging topic, I am able to try my hand at several different issues and am also able to gain considerable experience in the courtroom.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We believe strongly that all clients should stay informed -- however, we are also aware of the negative impact that too much information can have. We therefore maintain a balance of keeping our clients involved without them becoming overwhelmed.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We routinely have our clients prepare documents that will be beneficial in our attempt to prepare and carry out the case. These can include timelines, declaration, and summary of all the issues.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We are a full-service firm that supports and guides clients through every step of the process; we, however, do not coach clients who wish to represent themselves.

Michael Young

Law Office of Michael R. Young

I was previously employed at a mid-size firm in the Inland Empire. This gave me a unique experience with a high case load and the ability to gain extensive knowledge of the field. I found, however, that by working with such volume I was not able to give the personalized attention that I wanted to give my clients.

With previous work experience that ranged both in law and in a more blue collar environment, I am able to offer my clients down to earth and effective advice. My clients are able to trust in me, both as a person and as a lawyer.

I am realistic and unwaveringly devoted to providing my clients with tenacious legal aid. My clients can be confident knowing that no matter the situation, that I will be honest and dependable as I fight to protect their rights.

Personal interests:

I love spending time in the outdoors with such activities as riding motorcycles and camping. I also love to spend time with my entire family.
