Law Office of Michael Stolzar

Firm Overview

Michael Stolzar believes that successful businesses are started and grown by people who take the time to understand the difference between working for themselves and working ON growing their business. While being self-employed may generate a paycheck, it is not enough to build a solid foundation on which future wealth can be generated.

That is what Michael Stolzar is all about. Since becoming a lawyer, he has focused on one thing: helping business owners succeed and reap the real benefits for their business, for themselves and for their families.

"I work to make you and your business succeed and keep it out of trouble." Attorney Michael Stolzar

Whether you are considering starting your first business, or have been operating a successful business and now want to take advantage of growth opportunities, getting there requires a roadmap. You know how hard you have to work. Let me show you how to apply those efforts in a direction that leads to success.

I offer a full range of business and real estate transaction services and am ready to serve as your outside general counsel, and legal advisor I am ready to help you understand the legal issues and overcome the obstacles that may seem like roadblocks.

"Whether your business is facing dynamic external factors, such as globalization, or internal factors such as capitalization or cash flow, there is an effective strategy and we will help you follow it." Attorney Michael Stolzar

We work closely with clients on business transactions as well as the myriad of complex issues attendant to growing and operating a business. Because our business is representing businesses, we understand effective legal representation begins with a thorough understanding of our client's business, goals and challenges.

When called upon to help a family-owned, closely-held or public company conceive, negotiate and close an important transaction, this understanding grounds our approach to due diligence, negotiation, deal structure and document drafting. Then, by analyzing legal and business issues in light of our client's expectations and the risks attendant to the transaction, we focus our technical skills on the legal terms, issues and provisions that have the greatest significance.

However, the legal needs of twenty-first century entrepreneurs extend well beyond the transactional arena. Our clients are constantly at one place or another along the continuum of strategic planning, making strategic or tactical decisions, and then re-evaluating and possibly modifying them, confronting problems in light of dynamic external factors, such as globalization, and internal factors such as capitalization and financing issues. Many entrepreneurs grappling with difficult decisions have credited our experience and understanding of their businesses with enabling them to identify previously unnoticed or underestimated opportunities or risks.
