What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

My education and background help me find Unique and Affordable solutions to the various issues faced by families today. I personally interact with clients to understand their unique situations and cater to their needs. As an immigrant myself, I have personally experienced the complexity of the various forms and procedures in the path to citizenship and was successful in navigating through them. Today, I use my expertise and experience in helping clients with their personal injury, family, business, criminal, and immigration matters.

Kavitha Mathew

Born in India, Kavi became a naturalized U.S. citizen, which gives her a personal perspective and understanding of both South Asian and American cultures. Her particularly strong connection with her clients shines brightly because she has an "inside perspective" on what it means to actually immigrate to the United States, gain an education, and start a family in America.

Kavitha has an engineering degree from Calicut University and an MBA from MDI, Gurgaon. In order to serve the community better, Kavi obtained a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. She is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas and is a licensed patent practitioner.

Kavitha has zealously represented clients in the Dallas area for several years. Her clientele ranges from individuals to large corporations. She is devoted to building long-term relationships and committed to always putting the client's interests first.

D. Scott Mackenzie

Donald Scott Mackenzie is a Civil, Criminal and Liability Litigation attorney in Dallas, Texas. He graduated Southern Methodist University School of Law, J.D., 2002. He is graduate of California Polytechnic University, Bachelor of Science, 1994. Licensed and in private practice since 2002, his practice areas are Tort Liability, Complex Litigation, Criminal Defense and Trucking and Transportation.

Prior to his legal practice, Mr. Mackenzie was a Contract Administration for U. S. Gas Transportation, and Fleet Manager for Rollins Truck Leasing. He is licensed by and/or a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Court of Appeals, The United States District Courts of the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member the Dallas Bar Association and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
