Mark Segal is a Charter Member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys which was formed in 1992. In 2003, he was awarded the Association's Distinguished Service Award. Mark Segal belongs to the Western States Bar Association, a select group of tax professionals which meets once a year with IRS upper management to discuss day-to-day implementation of Internal Revenue Code rules and regulations to come to a common understanding of the daily working problems of each group. The purpose of the meeting is to give taxpayer input in the hopes of making the system work better. Mark Segal's extensive experience as a tax lawyer has helped him build relationships based on mutual respect with a large group of IRS personnel.
