Laura M. Coleman is an associate in the Tampa law firm of Lieser Skaff Alexander. She practices complex commercial litigation.
After receiving her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, Ms. Coleman clerked for the Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington, United Stated District Court, Middle District of Florida. As a Law Clerk Fellow, she researched and analyzed an array of complex legal issues in the areas of contract law, labor and employment, and product liability.
During her tenure in law school, Ms. Coleman served as President of the University of Virginia chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the preeminent law fraternity whose alumni includes six former U.S. presidents and five current U.S. Supreme Court justices. She was also Chief Executive Editor of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal, where she ran one of the University’s oldest law journals, overseeing the publication of cutting-edge environmental jurisprudence.
In addition, Ms. Coleman served as a Research Assistant to the late Professor Jeffrey O’Connell—the renowned legal scholar who helped create the model for “no fault” auto insurance to protect traffic accident victims, reduce auto insurance rates, and curb frivolous litigation. Danielle also worked as trial counsel on several personal injury cases.

Ms. Prevatt has 42 years of experience in estate planning, probate litigation and real estate matters. She has served as legal counsel for many, including the Southshore Coalition for Mental Health & Aging and Mental Health Care, Inc.
Ms. Prevatt graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1968 and continued her education at the University of Alabama where she earned a Masters of Public Administration in 1970. She returned to Florida to attend Stetson University, where she obtained her J.D. in 1975, and later received her L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1984.
