 Liberty Street Law

Welcome to Liberty Street Estate Planning. With over $2.0 Billion of transaction experience, we are a specialized, cost-effective firm for wills, traditional trusts, asset protection trusts and LLCs.

Firm Overview

Liberty Street was founded by Tom Greene, who left his position as a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers to start Liberty Street, so named because the firm's first offices were in New York's World Trade Center located on historic Liberty Street. Over the years, we have come to focus on a range of services designed to help clients protect, distribute and grow their assets. Liberty Street is now located near the combined resources of the Atlanta business community and the University of Georgia's renown colleges of Business and Law. Often people know its time to put together an estate plan, but they've been postponing it. Now may be the time to get started. If you were to die today, what would happen to your family? For example, without a will, the courts could decide who raises your children and control the distribution of your estate. And, you want to make sure the assets you've worked so hard to accumulate during your lifetime aren't dissipated by taxes or perhaps, by your beneficiaries or creditors.

Estate planning can seem like a complex process, but it is made easier with the support of capable, experienced professionals.

Estate Planning

Welcome to Liberty Street Estate Planning. With over $2.0 Billion of transaction experience, we are a specialized, cost-effective firm for wills, traditional trusts, asset protection trusts and LLCs.

We see our role as being a trusted adviser to our clients helping them to protect, distribute and be good stewards of their assets, while meeting their long-term family goals. To fulfill our role, we specialize in four areas of law under the umbrella we call asset protection:

Wills
Trusts (revocable and irrevocable)
LLCs
Asset protection trusts

And because of Tom Greene's extensive experience in the financial world, we are also available to advise estate planning clients on certain financial matters, as well.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Why is Liberty Street different? It's simple. We listen hard.

Each engagement must begin with a thorough analysis of your work history, family and needs. With this knowledge, we can develop a plan, make recommendations, draft documents and ensure that everyone involved understands YOUR unique needs.
