Julia earned her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Political Science with minors in Business Administration and Pre-Law from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia in 2009. Paul Menair was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2003 after obtaining his J.D. in 2002. Mr. Menair has a PhD in history, and teaching experience at the undergraduate level. After graduating from Georgia State University, Mr. Menair clerked for a United States District Court Judge, handling dispositive motions in federal court at the trial level. After his clerkship, he went on to private practice, focusing primarily on civil litigation in both state and federal court, ranging from complex business, estate, and fiduciary disputes to tort and civil rights litigation.
Although Mr. Menair's practice has focused on litigation, he also has substantial transactional experience, including drafting and modification of trust and estate documents, contract drafting and review, and advising on fiduciary and corporate governance matters. Thaddeus Sobieski, "Sobie," has been practicing law in Georgia since 1958. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1951 with a degree in Liberal Arts majoring in history, he then entered the United States Army as a lieutenant. There he served in the Korean War as a company commander of a rifle company. As a result of his actions in combat, he was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart medals. After his return from Korea, he became a weapons instructor at Fort Benning, Georgia and then joined the Reservist 81 st Infantry Division-Atlanta in order to attend the Emory Law School.
