The Law Offices of Vidya Prasad, LLC provides experienced legal representation in Workers Compensation, Immigration, Social Security Disability and other legal matters to clients throughout New Jersey.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of Workers Compensation, Vidya has worked as both a Petitioner's attorney as well as an "in house" counsel for a major insurance carrier. This has enabled her to understand the practicalities of the application of Workers Compensation laws and she will address all potential issues that a petitioner can face from the get go. Employers have their insurance companies working to help them reduce costs, even if this means denying their loyal employees who got hurt at work, their legal benefits. Vidya firmly believes that petitioners need a relentless, compassionate and committed attorney to ensure that they obtain the benefits that are due and owing to them under the New Jersey laws.
I worked both "in house" for an insurance carrier and for petitioner oriented firms. Over the years I realized that some employers and insurance carriers actively interfere with petitioners' treatment thereby depriving an injured worker of proper medical or temporary benefits. Petitioners are real people with real problems whose lives have been upended because of a work injury. The Law Offices of Vidya Prasad, LLC was formed with the intent and goal for championing and advocating petitioner's rights.
Vidya Prasad has both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Madras. She then obtained her J.D. at Seton Hall Law. She has over 20 years of experience doing both sides of workers compensation (petitioner and respondent) and she uses the knowledge that she gained while working as an in-house counsel for an insurance carrier, to the benefit of her clients along with her dedication to her work.
We believe in compassionate representation of our clients while at the same time being passionate about our work and relentless in our pursuit of ensuring that we are our clients' champions for justice. We use our expertise to ensure that we fight hard to try and obtain the benefits that are due to our clients.
