At Pawuk & Pawuk all phone calls are answered by one of the attorneys. We have an excellent track record of getting many of our cases reduced or dismissed before anyone sees the inside of a courtroom. Many of our clients are first time offenders, people from all walks of life who may be wrongly accused. We make sure to tell your side of the story, something that's often missed by the police.
We handle all criminal cases from DUI to high level drug charges, complex white collar crimes to juvenile cases.
Daniel Pawuk has been practicing criminal defense since 2000. He specializes in DUI and wrongful traffic stops. He was a state prosecutor in both Hillsborough and PInellas Counties.
Stephanie Pawuk has been practicing since 2001. She specializes in negotiating dismissals and reductions with the State Attorneys. Stephanie is a former state prosecutor in Pinellas County.
We believe clients should understand all parts of the legal process. The more the client understands, the better able they are to make decisions about their case, and realize all of their potential options.
For example, just because someone is arrested, does not necessarily mean they will ever be formally charged with a crime. After an arrest, the case is reviewed by the State Attorney who reads all the police reports, talks with the witnesses, and reviews the other evidence. This is the time we do our best work, by providing the State with evidence or witnesses the police may have missed. Often, no formal charges are ever filed and the case is dismissed.
Daniel has been practicing criminal law since 2001. After graduating from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg he served as a prosecutor for both the Hillsborough and Pinellas County State Attorney's Offices. Since 2006 he has focused his practice in criminal defense.
Dan specializes in DUI cases with an emphasis in challenging the science behind breath and blood alcohol testing methods. He is licensed to practice in Florida, Arizona, New York and Washington D.C.
