I specialize in representing debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases
I am a sole practitioner representing individuals and small business debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Most of these bankruptcy cases are consumer bankruptcies. I also specialize in assisting clients that owe money to the IRS or state tax agencies, presenting both bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy options for resolving tax liabilities. I can also assist with mortgage modifications and student loan debt issues.
I have been practicing law since 1982. I have been a sole practitioner in Carson City since 1999 specializing in consumer bankruptcy cases, and state and federal tax disputes. Prior to opening my law office I was a Senior Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General's Office for 12 years representing the Nevada Department of Taxation and State Board of Equalization. I obtained my law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1981, and I am also licensed in California, though on inactive status there.
