In 1993, Ian Linker graduated from the University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, and in 1998, he graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where he had a judicial internship and researched and drafted articles for a Dean of the Law School regarding the intersect between antitrust and intellectual property and international trade. He is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York as well as several federal circuit courts of appeals across the country and the federal district courts in New York.
After graduating law school, Mr. Linker joined the firm Kaye Scholer, now Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, where he spent the first several years of his career specializing in antitrust law and working on several products-liability actions.
He later went in-house to the law department of a Fortune 50 corporation and changed focus. He developed a new specialty and became an expert in employee-benefits litigation and drafted briefs and argued several federal-court appeals. After spending more than a dozen years as an in-house attorney, Mr. Linker returned to private practice.
Regularly consulting with and meeting real estate agents and brokers, lenders, and title professionals and as an affiliate partner of Greater Bergen Realtors, Mr. Linker keeps abreast of the local real estate market.
