We are a group of independent attorneys who maintain separate law firms but have pooled our resources to better represent Maryland residents in two main areas, family law and foreclosure defense. Our Family Law practice encompasses divorce, child custody, visitation and child support. Foreclosure defenses is a new area of the law that is developing daily. We defend foreclosure actions and at the same time seek mortgage modification.

Mr. Solomon has been a licensed attorney for 27 years. He concentrates in matters of Family Law, specifically divorce and child custody, foreclosure defense, and handles matters at the trial and appellate level.
Gerald Solomon received his JD in 1982 from Howard University, magna cum laude, and ranked first in his class. He received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in accounting. He was admitted to the Maryland State Bar Association in 1982. He is also admitted to the practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Solomon holds the highest national Martindale- Hubble lawyers rating of AV*.
Mr. Solomon is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards in Family Law, Federal Jurisprudence, Conflicts, Corporations and Agency.

Mr. Abney is a litigation attorney practicing in civil, criminal, and family law matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, graduating magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Additionally, as an undergrad, Mr. Abney received recognition from, and was accepted into, the Golden Key National Honors Society. He is admitted to practice law before the courts in Washington D.C., the state courts of Maryland, and the U.S. Federal District Courts of Maryland.
After graduating from law School, Mr. Abney went to work as an associate attorney for a local in Montgomery County, Maryland law firm where he practiced litigation and estates & trusts. After gaining experience in those realms, Mr. Abney opened his own practice in Rockville , Maryland and quickly established a successful practice in civil, criminal, and family law matters. Mr. Abney’s firm and practice now routinely take him to Montgomery, Howard, Frederick, Anne Arundel, and Prince George’s Counties. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Abney was a member of the U.S. Army. He has been stationed with 101st Airborne Division (Ft. Campbell KY), the 82nd Airborne Division (Fayetteville, NC), and the 3rd Military Intelligence Battalion (Camp Humphrey’s, S. Korea). After his military service, and while attending school, Mr. Abney worked for a multinational, billion dollar private sector corporation as a product coordinator in tactical marketing. As a product coordinator he traveled across the country visiting various manufacturing sites where he learned how various sectors and parts of the country relate to one another and conduct business.
Ms. Brienza graduated suma cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence, and received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2002. While receiving her education, Ms. Brienza was named a Mount Royal Law Scholar in 1998 and 1999, received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in the Jurisprudence Program, and received the Maryland Women’s Forum Scholarship. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Brienza is a community activist who has advocated for legislative change on a variety of issues at both the state and local levels. Ms. Brienza is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel and currently serves as Vice-President of Opportunity Builders, Inc.
Ms. Brienza understands the hardships people face during financial and domestic difficulties and provides the personal and compassionate service clients need to help them through this stressful time.

John J. Bascietto, Esq. received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, Baltimore MD. He practices Civil law and Litigation, concentrating his practice in Estate law, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure defense, debt negotiation, Family and domestic law, and Wills and Trusts.
Mr. Bascietto is a Vietnam Era Veteran (United States Army) and spent 32 years working in the Federal government for agencies including the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Accordingly, Mr. Bascietto has extensive experience working with government agencies to obtain superior results for his clients.
