Mr. Beavans received his B.A. from the University of California at Davis. In 1995, George Washington University awarded him both an MBA and a Masters in international affairs. Christine DeLapp graduated in the top of her class from the University of California, Irvine, with a B.A. in criminology and law. While in college, she began working in family law at the Legal Aid Society, a non-profit law firm that provides free legal services to those in need. During Law School she was honored with multiple awards and scholarships for outstanding academic performance, and served as an editor on both Law Review and the International Journal. Ms. DeLapp received her juris doctor from California Western School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude..
After 5 years practicing family law, Ms. DeLapp received a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating with honors. She practiced tax law for a year and a half before moving on to complex securities litigation at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd. Ms. DeLapp also worked at the USD tax clinic for eight months representing pro-bono clients with their tax related issues. During this time, Ms. DeLapp continued to represent clients in both civil litigation and family law.
Although returning to her roots, and once again focusing on family law, she brings her knowledge of tax and corporate law and wealth of experience from eight years of practicing law in the state of California to the Law Offices of David Beavans. Eric Schneider was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Schneider served ten years in the United States Navy, deployed overseas and in the Global War on Terror. He mainly served as a military police patrol officer, watch commander, and investigator. After honorably separating from service, Mr. Schneider earned his B.A. in social science from Chapman University in 2007. He subsequently decided to stay on the west coast, settling in San Diego.
Mr. Schneider received his juris doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2013, graduating cum laude. While attending TJSL, Mr. Schneider was heavily involved in supporting the local veteran community as a volunteer at Veterans Village of San Diego. He also participated in the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Veterans Self-Help Clinic, was president of the Student Veterans Association, and was a member of the Veterans Bar Association of San Diego.
Upon being admitted to the California Bar, Mr. Schneider became a board member of the Veterans Bar Association of San Diego. Mr. Schneider practices primarily family law, and is licensed to practice before all California courts and the Southern District Court.
Mr. Schneider spends most of his free time with his children, and enjoys boxing, mixed martial arts, and baseball.
