Having been in a small business myself, and having an interest in financial matters, I understand the challenges people face today when, for whatever reason, there sometimes there just isn't enough money coming in to pay the bills. I help people resolve those challenges, and work with them to prevent them from arising again.
I have over 30 years experience representing individuals and small businesses who have experienced financial challenges. If we determine that a bankruptcy filing is the best option, then we take the necessary steps to see that the case is handled expeditiously and economically and will result in the best outcome possible.
My clients do not deal with paralegals or associate attorneys. They deal with me directly. While I do have the necessary support staff to assist with administrative tasks, all legal decisions are made by the client and me in full consultation with each other.
I was born and raised on the east coast, and moved to San Diego in 1976 to attend law school at Thomas Jefferson School of law. I have been married to my wife Sue Geller for over 40 years, and we have one daughter, Shelby, who lives in Washington DC and works for the federal government. In my off time I love to travel, play golf, and watch my 3 favorite sports teams: the Padres, Yankees and LA Kings.
