Attorney Delabar is experienced in the nuances of family law and is familiar with your local court's rules and judges.

Divorce issues such as alimony, child custody, parenting plans, and settlement agreements are confusing and stressful to talk about. At the Law Office of Judith Delabar, we try to educate our clients about the law and why their divorce is different from a friend or family member's divorce. We believe that an educated client has less stress and makes better decisions in the long run. We look forward to helping you.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We love clients who come to us with some knowledge about the divorce process and the current law of Florida. In the technology age most of us do research on our computers and smart phones before beginning endeavors that we are not familiar with. Sometimes this makes a potential client ask more sophisticated questions in our consultations. We welcome this.
In the event that a potential client has not done any of their own research we take the time to educate them and relate the law to their particular facts. We work with people from all ages, experiences, and walks of life.

In the event that a potential client has not done any research because they didn't know where to start, we start from square one. We believe that its important for a client to understand the process and the law. We walk them through it step by step. An educated client is our best customer.

Law Office of Judith Delabar

I started out in local law enforcement and stayed there for 18 years and then spent a short time as a prosecutor. I have always wanted to help people so I started my practice in 2008 and have never looked back. It feels good when I can minimize a client's exposure. It feels great when we win. It feels awesome when a client tells me they could not have done it without me.
