Experience. Diligence. Passion. Estate Planning for the modern Family.
My practice allows me the unique privilege to assist families and individuals when they are experiencing important changes in their lives, whether that be starting a new family, working through the loss of loved ones, or preparing for their golden years and in selecting whom they want to bequeath their assets. I present options to my clients so that they can best generate and distribute wealth, select proper fiduciaries, and to navigate the complex proceedings of the Surrogate's Court.
After my undergraduate degree from Yale University and Master's Degree from University of Chicago in East Asian Studies, I strengthened my knowledge of corporate, financial and trusts & estates matters as a paralegal at large and small New York City law firms. While at Fordham Law, I interned at the Queens County Surrogate's Court and at Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project. Deciding to focus on all matters trusts & estates related, earned my JD at Fordham Law School and trained on international trusts & estates matters at Heidner Law Firm P.C. and on domestic estate matters at Eisenberg & Baum LLP.
I formed my own law office in 2018 because I wanted to focus more intensively on my clients and to have greater access to them. My process always begins with a free telephone or Skype conversation to determine a client's immediate and long-term goals. I will inquire gently but candidly about their family relationships that impact how they want to leave their bequests and which they might be uncomfortable sharing with family members. When I take on a client, I intend to assist them for the long term. As my clients' lives and circumstances change, so will their estate plans and it is my duty to steer them in the best way I can so that they can make informed decisions. I am dedicated to crafting compassionate and sound estate plans for all types of families and individuals in accordance with their wishes. My work is more than a career for me - it is a calling.
