The Law Office of Amy Chapman only handles criminal law matters. This focus allows for intense specialization and expertise that a client could not get from a general practitioner. By limiting our practice to criminal law, we have the attention to detail you need to fight your case. Whether you need representation because you are under investigation or you seek skilled trial counsel to litigate your case, you need to hire an experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate attorney. Attorney Amy Chapman also serves the Sonoma State University Community where she likes representing the college kids to help them protect their rights and their future.
I found a passion for criminal defense early on in law school and never looked back. I love the challenge that criminal defense brings to each and every case, but mostly I like using my skills and experience to help people through tough times. I have exclusively practiced criminal defense in Sonoma County since 2000. I spent my first 12 years of practice in the Sonoma County public defender's office which has a very high caseload. I handled thousands of cases in misdemeanor and felony assignments.
Why Am I Uniquely Qualified To Defend You
I offer a more personal approach and pride myself on having excellent communication with my clients and their families. I am approachable so that they do not feel intimidated to just pick up the phone and ask me questions in the middle of their case. Clients can send me questions via email and I always do my best to respond to the emails and phone calls as quickly as possible. I want my clients and their families feel comfortable and informed about the case. The more comfortable and informed my clients feel about their cases, the less stressful it will be for them. My goal is to make the whole process as stress free as possible.
