LOAR PLLC is a woman-owned, personal injury law firm with offices in Austin, Waco, and DFW and is currently opening offices in Corpus Christi and South Texas. The lawyers at LOAR bring two decades of experience and have been recognized for excellence by Thompson Reuters (Rising Star 2013-2022), Martindale-Hubbell, Austin Monthly, and Travis County Women Lawyers Association.

No one wants to get hurt, but if you are, you need a lawyer who knows how to get your case resolved. Our firm helps families after a tragedy, and we represent individuals all over Texas who have suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of negligent truck drivers, those who have lost loved ones to drunk drivers, and children who have lost parents killed at work trying to provide for their families.

LOAR PLLC
Amber Russell

LOAR founder, Amber Russell, has a long history of accomplishment, including graduating from the University of Texas at the age of 20 and graduating with distinguished honor to the Order of the Coif, in the top 10% from the University of Texas Law School. She starting her career in prestigious big law with Baker Botts and spend decades honing her craft. She has been recognized for excellence by Thompson Reuters (Rising Star 2013-2021), Martindale-Hubbell, Top Attorney by Austin Monthly, and Travis County Women Lawyers Association. She serves on the board of mentoring associations in Austin and Dallas, supporting other women attorneys, and Amber is on the board of SOAR Texas, a nonprofit that provides scholarships for women who are the first in their family to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees or who have overcome significant obstacles to become leaders in their field. She and her husband launched SOAR Texas, providing $100K in annual scholarships, to help open doors for ‘first females’.

Amber has helped hundreds of clients who have been seriously injured, including victims of trucking and auto crashes. Having worked on both sides, first as a defense attorney at an international law firm and now as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer, Amber sees the issues from all angles and navigates challenges to bring your case to resolution. Amber is well known for her fierce client advocacy and deep expertise in handling complex cases involving catastrophic injury. She brings the latest technology for scene inspections, forensic examinations of mobile devices and other electronic data, and has best in class team to even the most complex 18-wheeler cases.

LOAR was founded to reinvent the Personal Injury business in Texas. LOAR is focused on long-term goals balancing client success, community impact, and a positive, growth-oriented work environment. Amber felt a calling very early to balance personal achievements with helping others. While attending the University of Texas Law School, she worked with groups to serve victims of domestic and sexual violence as well as individuals alleging they were wrongfully convicted. She is a frequent teacher and invited lecturer for legal, entrepreneurial and leader groups across Texas.
