What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We've done all the studying, obtained law licenses and continue to get legal education credits so you don't have to! If our clients have a legal question, we are more than willing to empower them with what information is applicable to their cases. First things first: Do you have a claim or have you been injured on the job? Below are the steps you need to take right away:

Steps to take if you have been injured on the job:

1. Promptly notify your employer.
2. Seek medical treatment and follow your doctor's recommendations.
3. Contact Attorney Laura S. Jenkins to file your claim.
4. Keep track of your expenses and lost time from work.
5. Do not speak with the insurance company. Attorney Laura S. Jenkins will do that for you.

Here's what the insurance company does not want you to know!

1. You do not have to give the insurance company a recorded statement.
2. You may be entitled to benefits even if you caused your own injury.
3. Even though you had a prior injury to the same area, you may still be entitled to benefits.
4. You may be owed money for your mileage, parking and prescriptions.
5. You may be owed money for your permanent injuries and scarring.

Why do we give out such incredibly valuable information? We do this because we have one core philosophy: To provide legal services with care!

Laura S. Jenkins, P.C is a very different kind of law practice. We care about our clients. Other law firms may say it, but we actually do. After you talk with Attorney Jenkins and her staff, you will have no doubt that we truly care about serving the best interests of our clients.

Jenkins also has extensive experience in civil litigation. She has conducted District and Superior trials and has appeared before the Court of Appeals. Being a strong civil litigator is the essence of being a good personal injury attorney. Laura S. Jenkins, P.C. is prepared to explain to the big insurance companies exactly what will happen if they refuse to offer a fair settlement value for your case. And in the event your case does not settle, we are willing and able to try your case in the appropriate forum.

So if you hire Attorney Jenkins, you will deal with a small firm in which the attorneys have time to talk to their clients and a firm that is devoted to fighting for every client no matter what the size of the claim.
