Firm Overview

How do we consistently recover more money for the injured and the surviving family?
The answer is: hard work, grit, and commitment.
When someone is seriously injured, their case requires serious lawyers. TV lawyers rely upon non-lawyers to manage cases, after all, the TV guy is spending his time on TV adds.
We focus on our cases and work those cases hard. Every issue has been explored and we are ready for trial.
Our hard work, grit, and commitment has resulted in large recoveries and judgments for our clients.

Three member firm focuses on select cases in which the injury, to life or property, is significant.

Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

No. Permanent injury and wrongful death cases, due to motor vehicle collisions or medical malpractice cases should only be handled by an attorney.
In matters which an injury healed quickly, are matters that people can and should handle themselves.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Unlike the large firms, the attorney you hire is the attorney that will work on the case. Certainly some work is done by associates and paralegals, but the partners at KGW are intimately involved in the day to day issues of your case.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

We prepare every case for a jury trial. Why? Because this leads to the best results. The insurance companies settle with us, because they know we are prepared to go to trial. This follows old saying: if you want peace, prepare for war.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

KGW is active in the legal community, playing critical leadership roles in the bar organizations, speaking to law school classes, and in continuing legal education.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Krause Golomb & Witcher LLC distinguishes itself by bringing creative and practical solutions to your legal problems. Our approach is to fully understand your case and aggressively advocate on your behalf from day one until your case is satisfactorily and fully concluded. Your concerns are our concerns and it's our privilege to serve you.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We believe that the more involved the client the better the outcome. We spend significant time in working with our clients, particularly listening to our clients so that we can develop the case, allowing the clients to be informed about their decisions, and ultimately, maximizing the recovery.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

It depends on the types of documents.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

No. There are some great resources available on the web regarding self-representation. Roger Krause was appeared on the Layman's Lawyer Radio Show on 790am on the topic of how to prepare your case in magistrate court.
