Kevin J. Breen is a highly respected Akron attorney and counselor at law in practice since 1986. Mr. Breen has litigated important cases in State and Federal courts throughout Ohio and other jurisdiction. His office is in Akron. His practice focuses on the areas of OVI defense, contract law, business matters, educational law and employment law. He has also successfully represented clients in oil and gas lease matters and real estate matters.
Mr. Breen has successfully operated his own law firm since 1994. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Breen practiced in two different large and prestigious law firms in both Akron and Cleveland. He brings the same level of competence, expertise and professionalism associated with large firms to his client base of small and medium sized businesses, not-for-profit entities, institutions and individuals.
Mr. Breen graduated from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1986, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the law of evidence and served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Alvin I. Krenzler, retired United States District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio in Cleveland. Mr. Breen is an active and longtime member of the Akron Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association. He has been a long standing member of the Lawyer Referral Service of the Akron Bar Association and other committees of the bar. He has served on the Government Affairs Committee of the Akron Regional Development Board as well as the Social Services Advisory Board of Summit County.
