Neal Kalis has practiced in South Florida since 1974; gaining prominence throughout the region, making a name for himself through public service, business and property ownership within the area, and, by providing sound counsel and representation to many of the area's most prominent businesses, individuals and land owners. M. Scott Kleiman has practiced law in South Florida since 1986. He has represented business concerns in both the large firm and small firm environment, focusing on both the litigation and transactional aspects of real property and commercial law. From 1995-2004, Scott served as a Cooper City Commissioner. Aaron Karger has practiced law in South Florida since 2011. He represents individuals and businesses in commercial litigation and real property litigation matters. Aaron is also a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Licensee. M. Scott Kleiman is an experienced and dedicated trial and transactional attorney who has practiced law in Dade, Broward and throughout Florida for more than 25 years. He represents clients in the areas of real estate and corporate transactional matters, after devoting many years of his practice to commercial litigation. He continues to litigate select matters for his clients, primarily in commercial and real estate based actionsincluding lender-creditor matters, foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, and partnership and shareholder disputes, consumer and collection matters.

Kleiman's real estate transactional representation and experience includes: the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real property; real estate secured lending, including construction, term, acquisition and refinancing of secured loans; commercial and residential leasing; representation of institutional lenders and developers; the sale, acquisition and financing of hotel properties; workouts and restructuring of problem real estate loans; condominium formation and conversions; and, land-use and zoning representation before governmental entities.

Additionally, Kleiman provides his clients with counseling in negotiating and documenting of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Among his significant accomplishments included the representation of financial institutions a developer in negotiating, structuring and documenting acquisition and construction loans, and the representation of the seller in an $80,000,000.00 beachfront hotel transaction.

Kleiman's practice also encompasses corporate matters. He provides his clients with representation in matters including stock and asset based acquisitions and sales; corporate and limited liability company formation; employment and independent contractor agreements; non-disclosure and non-competition agreements; shareholder and operating agreements; management agreements; confidentiality agreements; limited liability company transactions; and the resolution of shareholder disputes.

Kleiman is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. According to Martindale-Hubbell the rating indicates an attorney has reached "the height of professional excellence" and "is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity." He strives for successful dispute resolution through creative counseling and negotiation to achieve a settlement tailored to his client's goals and needsprior to trial or by trial before a judge, jury, or arbitration board.

Kleiman also has a strong record of community involvement. He has been appointed the 2013 Special Magistrate for Cooper City. He served three terms as a City Commissioner in Cooper City, and was previously appointed in August 2009 as a Special Magistrate for Cooper City. Upon his appointment, he left his position as a member of the City's Planning and Zoning Board, after ten years of service, five before becoming a City Commissioner and the last five after hitting his City Commission term limit. In addition, he has served the logistics chair for the Relay for Life; served as the Chair of the E.A.S.E. Foundationa community based assistance charity; was a member of the Davie/Cooper City Rotary Club; active in the Davie/Cooper City Chamber of Commerce serving as the chair of both the Education and the Governmental Affairs committees; served on the Board of Directors and as Second Vice-President of the Broward League of Cities; and served on the Broward County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Active with children, he also founded the Broward Blaze Travel Sport Club, Inc., where he served as the head coach of the national champion Broward Blaze travel baseball team for twelve seasons. He is the communications director for Nova Titan Baseball and is active in the Nova Titan Booster Club.

Neal Kalis

Neal Kalis is a highly experienced, dedicated and a solution oriented attorney who is recognized for his multi-disciplined transactional practice, which encompasses corporate, probate, real estate, land use and zoning law.

Kalis is often called upon to handle the most complex of real estate transactions. In 2006, he represented a seller in Fort Lauderdale throughout a consummated $80,000,000 beachfront hotel transaction from 1999 thru 2003. He served as the lead land use attorney in obtaining the approval for a 28 story condominium on the previous and historic Lauderdale Beachfront Hotel Property.

His clients also call on him to work with government officials and agencies, banks, property owners and the other critical links necessary to effectuate a solution to a client's problem. Kalis was one of the organizers and served as a director and general legal counsel for a local community bank from its conception in 1986 thru its merger to a larger financial institution in 2004.

The personal relationships Neal has developed in Broward county and throughout Florida over the last three decades as an active member in the legal, civil, philanthropic and government sectors of our communities have consistently proven to be invaluable in helping him to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
