Justin Reep is a Florida native, growing up in Jupiter, Florida. After graduating from William T. Dwyer High School Academy of Finance, Justin attended the University of Central Florida. There Justin graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Economics in 2010. Immediately after graduating Justin packed his bags for Washington, DC where he worked on Capitol Hill for Congressman Cliff Stearns. Justin then returned to his home State of Florida for Law School. Justin Graduated from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida in 2014. After passing the Florida Bar Exam, Justin was hired by Bernie McCabe, the State Attorney for the 6th Judicial Circuit. Upon returning to County Court Justin litigated many trials and hearings related to DUI/DWI cases. Justin went above and beyond his duties and trained other Assistant State Attorneys and Police Officers in the area of DUI. Justin even participated in several ride-alongs on the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office DUI Unit's DUI Wolf Pack. Because of his work, Justin was awarded the Outstanding Prosecution Award by Mothers Against Drunk Driving. In addition to performing all his regular duties as an Assistant State Attorney, Justin also took on the role of special prosecutor, prosecuting cases involving Boating Under the Influence, Hunting/Fishing/Game related crimes, and Environmental/Conservation related crimes. For his efforts in this unique area of law, Justin was award Prosecutor of the Year by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. After just a year and half of employment, Justin was promoted to a Felony Attorney. As a felony Justin prosecuted violent crimes and was assigned to handle Domestic Violence cases. Justin was eventually entrusted with a 1st Degree Murder case where he obtained a Grand Jury Indictment. During his three and a half years as an Assistant State Attorney Justin tried a total of 36 trials and litigated in front of all County and Circuit Court Criminal Division Judges.
