Estate Planning

Whether you have a complex or simple estate, we offer estate planning services suited to your situation. You may want a simple will, or you may want a trust and asset strategy to avoid probate and save taxes. We are cost-effective and efficient.

As a property law firm, we handle estate and real estate issues as a routine part of our practice. This includes probate, estate planning, real estate transactions, real estate litigation, leasing, investing, development, and miscellaneous property issues. If it has to do with your property, your real estate, or your assets, we can provide a cost-effective and efficient solution.

Commercial Real Estate

Our firm routinely helps real estate investors and business owners with commercial real estate issues. This includes transactions, litigation, entity formation, leasing, development, and miscellaneous property issues.

As a property law firm, we don't spread our efforts to widely. We focus only on property, real estate, and estates. This allows us to deliver superior services in a cost-effective manner. Our clients include real estate investors, business owners, homeowners, landlords, managers, and anyone else facing a property law issue. With attorneys in several states, we're equipped to handle your property issues both large and small.

Probate

As a property law firm, we know all about transfer of assets. Many times, this occurs through a probate. But we also handle quiet title actions, estate affidavits, and litigation when necessary to resolve your estate and probate issues properly.

As a property law firm, we've narrowed our focus to those areas of law impacting your property and assets. This allows us to deliver highly effective services in the areas of real estate, estates, probate, title, investing, transactions, real estate litigation, and related property issues. With attorneys in several states, we're well equipped to resolve your property issues both large and small.

What are your firm's strengths and style?

Our attorneys are real people with family commitments, financial commitments, and a desire to serve the local community. As such, we constantly seek to balance risk and reward for our clients. Balancing risk and reward allows us to focus on the things that truly matter, and help our clients do the same. With this mindset, we encourage every client to use a cost-benefit framework when it comes to legal issues. If it is not worth the client's time and money, we do not move forward. We do everything within our power to point clients toward win-win situations and steer them away from dead-end legal disasters.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes, although drafting new documents from scratch can be more cost efficient in certain situations.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Clients should educate themselves on the law as necessary to achieve the most cost-effective result. Some clients should not invest significant time in legal education, because the opportunity cost would be too great. Other clients are well-positioned to learn much of the law themselves. I am willing to work with either type of client to achieve the most cost-efficient result possible.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Absolutely, yes.

Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Absolutely, yes.
