To ensure the best possible results for the client, a firm needs to be willing to take a case all the way to trial.
Many business law lawyers avoid the courtroom, but at Jones, Allen & Fuquay, L.L.P., we have built a reputation for credibility in the courts and in the legal profession, and that reputation aids our success. Our business and commercial litigation work has encompassed motion practice, bench and jury trials, and even appeals where necessary, in Texas State courts and Federal court.
Cases we have successfully pursued in court include those involving:
-Defense of Lender Liability Claims
-Enforcement of lenders' rights against delinquent borrowers
-Breach of contract
-Actions by subcontractors against contractors
-Lawsuits by contractors, subs and suppliers against property owners
-Actions on construction bonds
-Bankruptcy adversary proceedings
-Shareholder derivative suits
-Sales representative suits
Our thorough preparation and understanding of all of the facts is essential to our trial work, and that effort yields real results for our clients. We do not take cases with the idea that we will settle - we take cases with litigation in mind, and we try cases to win.
