Jacobs & Dembert, P.A. is a Baltimore Inner Harbor law firm engaged in a general civil practice including business and corporate law, health law, probate and estate planning, taxation, and real estate.
Jacobs & Dembert, P.A. was started in February, 1996 by Jim Jacobs and Dave Dembert, both of whom practiced in the 1980s with Frank Bernstein Conaway & Goldman, a large regional law firm, and, subsequently, with their own small firms in the early 1990s. The firm has grown since its creation in response to the needs of the clients and is committed to providing the highest quality legal services in a thoroughly personal and professional manner. Following a three-year term at a mid-sized Baltimore law firm, Jay Horowitz joined the firm in 2010 as an associate attorney. After establishing herself as one of the premier health law attorneys in the state, Carolyn Jacobs became Of Counsel to Jacobs & Dembert, P.A. in March, 2012. The firm enjoys the highest rating ("AV") awarded by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory for legal ability and ethical standards.
