Ivone, Devine & Jensen, LLP was formed in January of 1984 by Michael T. Ivone, Robert Devine and Richard C. Jensen. Each has extensive experience in the defense of negligence, products liability and medical malpractice actions.

Brian Lee

Brian E. Lee graduated from Colgate University in 1974 and obtained his law degree from Valparaiso University in 1976. At Valparaiso, he was a member of the Law Review and an article of his was published in that Law Review in 1977. He was licensed to practice law in New York in 1977 and was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1978.

From 1977 through 1980 he was associated with Marshall, Bellofatto & Callahan (in-house attorneys for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company). From 1981 through September 1984, he was with Morris, Duffy, Ivone & Jensen. He joined our firm in 1984 and was made a Member in September of 1985.

Mr. Lee is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations and the New York County Lawyers Association. He is rated AV Preeminent Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Lee is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.

Mr. Lee handles most of the appeals for our firm and also has extensive experience in the defense of products liability, complex general negligence and malpractice actions. Additionally, he is often assigned cases requiring extensive discovery. He has lectured the Association of Hospital Risk Managers on the subject of structured settlements and was a beta tester for the New York State Unified Court System e-courts system.
