Robert Hudson is a shareholder and co-founder of the law firm of Hudson & Calleja, LLC, a certified Minority Business Enterprise under Chapter 287, Florida Statutes and the winner of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's 2011-2012 "Emerging Business of the Year" award. His practice focuses on employment litigation, personal injury litigation, insurance coverage issues and complex commercial litigation. He has tried cases in state and federal courts, handled appeals in both state and federal appellate courts, and arbitrated cases with the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Rob has been "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer review rating possible, since 2002. He was peer-selected to the Florida Super Lawyers list in 2012, 2013 and 2015, an honor bestowed on less than 5% of lawyers in Florida. He has been peer-selected as one of Florida's Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and was named a South Florida Business Leader Legal IMPACT Leaders Honoree in 2010. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, he attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he majored in finance, earning a B.S. in Business Administration in 1990. He continued his studies at the University of Miami School of Law where he received a J.D. in 1993. Rob was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Rob is very active in the South Florida civic and charitable communities as well. He was elected as a member of the Orange Bowl Committee in 2001. He was an Active Member from 2001-2013 and has been Senior Member since 2013. He served on the Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Florida from 1999-2014, having chaired various subcommittees and was the Board Chairman from 2010-2012. In 2014, he was elected to the Society's Emeritus Board based on his years of dedication and service to Zoo Miami and the Zoological Society. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Greater Miami from 1999 to 2012 and was the Board Chairman from 2008-2011. He was named one of Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida's 2011 Twelve Good Men of South Florida for his commitment to South Florida charitable causes.
