H.J. "Jack" Dane

H.J. Dane Law Office

After practicing law for 22 years with other prestigious firms in Davenport and Rock Island, Jack Dane established his law firm in KSTT Place in 2004 to provide his clients with responsive and aggressive legal representation. A 1982 honors graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, Jack practices in the state and federal courts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Jack grew up working on the family dairy farm and at the family dairy store in Iowa City. Jack attended Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault, Minnesota before completing a double major in Economics and American Studies at Grinnell College. Jack and his wife, Michele, have three adult sons who graduated from Bettendorf High School and are attending college or have completed their degrees. Jack is a past president and an active member of the Davenport Kiwanis Club; Jack is the current President of the Bettendorf Community Schools Foundation; Jack established a program of continuing legal education for local attorneys which has generated in excess of $75,000 of support for HELP Legal Aid of Davenport; and Jack established the Foundation at St. John's United Methodist Church of Davenport.

Jennie L. Clausen

Jennie L. Clausen joined H. J. Dane Law Office as a Partner in October 2009. Jennie is an Iowa native who received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa where she majored in Sociology and Psychology. In May 2005, Jennie graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with her Juris Doctorate. While attending the University of Iowa College of Law, Jennie was a writer and an editor for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice. Following her graduation from law school, Jennie was a judicial law clerk for the Seventh Judicial District of Iowa and was a Partner in a Quad Cities based law firm prior to joining H. J. Dane Law Office. Jennie is active in numerous community organizations and devotes substantial time to community activities. Jennie resides in Bettendorf, Iowa, with her husband, Ryder Houck, and their two dogs (Bella and Cubbie) and cat (Tiger).

Alicia D. Gieck joined H. J. Dane Law Office as a Partner in October 2009. Alicia is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her undergraduate degree from Drake University where she majored in Political Science. In May 2000, Alicia graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with her Juris Doctorate. Following law school, Alicia worked in several Quad Cities based law firms as an Associate Attorney and was a Partner in a Quad Cities based law firm prior to joining H. J. Dane Law Office. She is very active in the local bar association where she serves on the Executive Committee as the President Elect. Alicia resides in Davenport, Iowa, with her husband, James Cosby, and their dog (Cooper), two cats (Quiggley and Gizmo), and canary (Herky).

Breanne M. Schadt joined H. J. Dane Law Office as an Associate in June 2005 and became a Partner in January 2008. Breanne is from Northwest Iowa and has been in the Quad Cities since 2001. In December 2004, Breanne graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law and received her Juris Doctorate with distinction. Breanne received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in Political Science, with a minor in Economics and a Certificate in Philosophies and Ethics of Politics, Law and Economics. Breanne enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in the community.
