Jim represented YSD Industries, Inc. in the employee buyout of the interest of Lamson and Sessions, Inc. in what was formerly known as The Youngstown Steel Door Company. Moreover, Jim has represented many school boards, local governmental bodies as well as private businesses in the Youngstown area in labor and employment matters for a number of years. He has negotiated countless labor agreements, and has represented employers before state and federal courts and arbitrators in adversary proceedings. He is recognized as an excellent trial attorney and negotiator and has argued before the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Ohio. His primary areas of concentration consist of general and corporate civil trial practice, labor and employment law, and family law. Jim has served as special counsel for the Ohio Attorney General. He has negotiated countless labor agreements, and has represented employers before state and federal courts and arbitrators in adversary proceedings. He is recognized as an excellent trial attorney and negotiator and has argued before the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Ohio. His primary areas of concentration consist of general and corporate civil trial practice, labor and employment law, and family law. Jim has served as special counsel for the Ohio Attorney General. Since 1991 he has been a member of the City of Youngstown Civil Service Commission, and currently is its president.
