Chelsea earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. During law school, she worked as a certified student attorney at the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. She participated in the Immigration Appellate Clinic, representing individuals in their immigration appeals. Chelsea also served as a senior editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
After graduating, Chelsea worked in the legal department of an international corporation, then clerked for a criminal judge in the Fourth Judicial District Court. As a judicial law clerk, Chelsea worked closely with the judge on sensitive legal issues in and out of the courtroom. This experience has given her a unique advantage as she has seen many cases from the Court’s perspective.
