Frank Guerra

HIGHLY EXPERIENCED IN DIVERSE IMMIGRATION MATTERS

Frank Guerra is the principal attorney at Guerra & Associates Law Group. He has practiced immigration law since 2000. Mr. Guerra's practice consists of both family and business immigration cases. He is versed in representing clients in the immigration visa process, naturalization, removal, and other litigation matters. He is admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Before establishing his law group, Mr. Guerra served for eight years as a Senior Associate at an immigration law firm, and 8 years as partner at a boutique law practice in Houston, Texas. He has worked on hundreds of immigration cases, including complex litigation cases and large business immigration cases. While in law school, Mr. Guerra also served as a law clerk for the District Counsel of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and as a law clerk at Chevron's Legal Department.

Mr. Guerra's clients and colleagues view him as the "go to" man when a case involves difficult issues. His clients have come to appreciate his no-nonsense approach and zealous advocacy when it comes to assessing their cases and finding a solution to obtain the intended immigration relief. His experience affords him the foresight to formulate a strategy that will achieve a client's short and long-term goals. Mr. Guerra is extremely comfortable and proficient in handling cases in front of the immigration courts. Nevertheless, he does everything within his power and within the law to ensure that the people he represents never endure the financial and emotional costs of removal proceedings.

Mr. Guerra is a native of Dallas, Texas. He is an avid golfer and a devoted Texas A&M football fan.

Rosa Acevedo

HIGHLY EXPERIENCED IN DIVERSE IMMIGRATION MATTERS

Rosa Acevedo is the Associate Attorney at Guerra & Associates Law Group. Her practice consists primarily on representing clients in immigration-related matters, including Removal Proceedings, USCIS submissions, Consular Processing, and appeals. Ms. Acevedo excels with her attention to each client's individual needs and her ability to find answers to some of the most difficult immigration problems.

Ms. Acevedo's knowledge in immigrations extends beyond her time as an attorney. She has gained specific knowledge in immigration law early on in her legal education. As a legal intern for Casa Cornelia Law Center (CCLC), she assisted some of our most vulnerable members of society with their immigration cases, including U-visa and asylum cases. After completing her first year with CCLC, Ms. Acevedo transitioned to a boutique immigration law firm in California.

Ms. Acevedo has a passion for immigration law and a passion for helping those that want to create a prosperous life for their families here in the United States. She is a passionate advocate with a willingness to seek all avenues for her client's immigration solutions. Her complete understanding of immigration law and confidence in her abilities as an attorney serve as a valuable asset to her client's objectives.

Ms. Acevedo was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Prior to being an attorney, she was a teacher and lived in Honduras. She is fluent in spoken and written Spanish. When she is not in the office, you can find her at the local CrossFit gym enjoying an active lifestyle.
