Griggs Injury Law, LLC, is a plaintiff's litigation law firm dedicated to helping seriously injured individuals and their families. We represent people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, wrongful death, or have been injured by a drunk driver or in a serious auto accident. We have handled a number of Dram Shop cases for people who were seriously injured by serving drunk patrons of bars and restaurants. In 2016, I was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Missouri Brain Injury Advisory Council whose mission is to lead in the development of a collaborative statewide system of prevention, public awareness, and provision of services

I am active in my local community serving as a Board Member in several organizations including Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), past Chair of the MATA Women's Caucus, past board member for the Association for Women Lawyers (AWL-KC) and Hope Haven of Cass County. I have also been active in emergency response programs such as the American Red Cross and the MATA Emergency Response Team that responds to natural disasters to provide free legal advice to those affected by disasters.

I am dedicated to helping newer attorneys succeed in their practices as well. I am a mentor in the Denise Henning Connections group for AWLF female attorneys.

Auto Accident

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

At the Griggs Injury Law firm our philosophy is individual attention. With many large law firms your case will be passed around between clerks and attorneys, you may deal with a completely different person every time to contact that firm. With us, you can be sure that your case will be specifically handled and you will be dealt with individually. We focus our practice entirely on representing injured individuals and their families.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

In 2016, I was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Missouri Brain Injury Advisory Council whose mission is to lead in the development of a collaborative statewide system of prevention, public awareness, and provision of services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries in the state of Missouri. I have traveled across the United States to get continuing legal education in traumatic brain injury cases and to stay on top of cutting edge treatment and law.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We are a small, boutique firm that only practices personal injury law, specifically in traumatic brain injury cases, spinal injuries, wrongful death and dram shop which is the overservice of alcohol by a bar/restaurant to an obviously intoxicated patron. This is the entire focus of our practice and providing exceptional representation for our clients is our main priority.
