Goodey Injury Law
Jessica M. Goodey

Jessica M. Goodey is a Personal Injury attorney in Las Vegas. Since 2010, she has dedicated her time to helping victims of negligence, with an emphasis on car accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice. Jessica will use her knowledge and experience to ensure that every client obtains the maximum compensation for his or her case through fierce negotiation techniques and personal attention.

An Illinois native, Jessica graduated in 2007 from University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Italian. Jessica received her Juris Doctor in 2010 from Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where she participated in and won several awards at mock trial competitions, including taking first place at the First Annual Society of Advocates Mock Trial Competition.

During law school, Jessica was recognized for receiving the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy class, and received a Dean’s Award for her contributions to the school. Jessica also volunteered for Street Law, a program designed to implement the practice of law in Las Vegas’ at-risk city high schools.

In pursuit of her clinical legal education, Jessica participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic in which she served as a student attorney representing kids through the juvenile criminal system.

Throughout Jessica's legal career, she has helped hundreds of clients recover millions of dollars in compensation for their injuries. The courtroom is not where her service to the community ends. From 2018 to 2020, she served on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Nevada. She also is a Judge Pro Tempore for the Las Vegas Justice Court, and Alternate Judge for the Las Vegas Municipal Court, and an Arbitrator for the Nevada Arbitration Program.

Jessica brings her background and experience to each of her client’s cases. She is knowledgeable in law and thorough in her understanding of the facts of every case. More importantly, Jessica makes it a point to get to know each of her clients on a personal level and communicate with them on a regular basis regarding the status of their cases. Jessica is adamant about representing her clients’ interests, and she makes herself available to clients for questions or concerns.
