Gallagher Jones LLP first opened its doors in 2014 as part of a collaboration between attorneys Kathleen Gallagher and Lauren Jones.
Kathleen and Lauren met in 2006 while working at a local Sacramento firm, specializing in workers' compensation defense, civil litigation, and subrogation.
In 2011 Kathleen started her own firm specializing in civil litigation. Lauren joined forces with Kathleenonce again in 2013 as an associate attorney. With time and growth, the firm expanded its practice areas and began assisting attorneys statewide with discovery, trial preparation, and hearing attendance. Astheir professional relationship continued to grow, Kathleen and Lauren ventured into opening their own firm. Thereafter Gallagher Jones LLP was born.

Lauren Jones, born and raised in Southern California, moved to the Sacramento area in 2004 to complete her undergraduate education. She received her bachelor's degree in philosophy with a minor in psychology from U.C. Davis in 2006. During her last year of undergraduate studies, Lauren interned at a local family law firm, and after graduation, she began working as a paralegal/legal assistant in the areas of workers' compensation and civil litigation/subrogation.
In 2009, Lauren was admitted into Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. During her second year she became Student Bar Association Secretary, and in 2012 she mentored with Honorable Thad A. Blizzard of Sacramento County Superior Court. Lauren graduated from Law School in May 2013 where she ranked number 15 in her class and received the award for best Trial Advocacy Team.
Lauren joined Kathleen 's law firm in 2013, where she began practicing as a civil litigation attorney for the firm. In June 2014, Lauren and Kathleen opened Gallagher Jones LLP. Lauren has experience in civil litigation, breach of contract, contract drafting, partnership disputes, business disputes, trademark law, workers' compensation, business formation and governance, and estate planning.
When not diligently advocating for her clients, Lauren enjoys painting, photography and spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.

Kathleen Gallagher was admitted to practice law in June 2007 and has worked with some of the top law firms in Sacramento and Los Angeles. She specializes in civil litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side, as well as business formation and governance, and estate planning. Kat has experience in various practice areas such as: general civil litigation, breach of contract, contract drafting, partnership disputes, business disputes, employment law, trademark law, landlord/tenant law, and personal injury.
After working at a prestigious mid-size Sacramento firm for a few years, Kat began her own firm in 2011. In 2014, Kat partnered with Lauren Jones to create Gallagher Jones LLP. She currently maintains Of Counsel relationships with a two California law firms and has helped many other litigation attorneys succeed with their own cases and clients as a contracted attorney. She is currently lead outside counsel to one of the top manufacturers of quality e-liquids worldwide.
Kat graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in December 2006. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with minors in Dance and Philosophy from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1999. Before attending law school, Kat also spent a few years successfully managing the customer service department of a multi-city call center for a well-known Internet Service Provider.
Kat's hobbies include dance, golf, music, snow skiing, and sports. She is happily married to a wonderful husband, and she actively contributes to charitable causes. She holds the title of Mrs. Visayas 2015-2016 of the Filipino Community of Sacramento and Vicinity.
