Denver personal injury attorney Amanda Francis joined the team at Fuicelli & Lee, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in October 2014. Ms. Francis is thrilled to work at a firm where every case is treated with personal attention and service. By nature, Ms. Francis is a kind, sincere, empathetic advocate, who is drawn to helping others in their time of need. She is a committed trial attorney, dedicated to developing cases and her craft through hard work, strategy, and education.
Her work experience includes bench trials, jury trials, direct appeals, and post-conviction petitions.
Along with Mr. Fuicelli, Jess Cash also brings a unique perspective to her personal injury cases. A couple of years after she had her first child it was determined through a brain MRI that her son was born with a mild case of a rare metabolic disorder. While still struggling to understand this diagnosis, Jess’ mom unexpectedly and tragically died at the young age of 50. Soon after, Jess resigned from the DA’s office to focus her attention on her son’s needs and therapy. Her son is now 15 and doing great thanks to many hours of hard work, early intervention and great therapists. Along with her son, Jess also has a young daughter who is 13. This experience with her family gave Jess a first-hand view on how an unexpected medical issue of any kind can take its toll not only on the individual but also all family members. Jess states, “I would say that the one thing people most take for granted is their good health and that of their loved ones.” She also can strongly empathize with anyone who has unexpectedly lost a loved one stating this about the loss of her mother, “You wake up one day and they are here and healthy and the next day they are gone and you never got to say goodbye. It is one of the hardest and most painful things I have ever dealt with.”
Jess was raised in the beautiful city of Boulder after her family moved from Queens, New York in 1989 when she was 13 years old. She will never forget her first drive into Boulder on Highway 36 and asking her parents “are those mountains real?” She is a proud graduate of Boulder High School and enjoyed growing up just a few blocks from Chautauqua Park which undoubtedly caused her to fall in love with hiking and the Colorado mountains. Jess and her family reside a mile outside Longmont in unincorporated Boulder County and she can’t think of a more wonderful place to live, work and raise her kids.
As a Longmont and northern Colorado personal injury attorney, Jess Cash is committed to obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients. She understands what a privilege it is to help guide people through this often overwhelming and frustrating process.
Having conducted close to a hundred trials and handled thousands of cases as a prosecutor and a defense attorney, Mr. Lee’s extensive experience is a true asset to the firm. John Lee partnered with Keith Fuicelli to form Fuicelli & Lee, P.C. after spending close to a decade working as a prosecutor.
Mr. Lee spent approximately seven years in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office quickly rising through the ranks and prosecuting the most serious cases including First Degree Murder. He was then selected to join an elite group of prosecutors at the Attorney General’s office. There, John handled complex criminal matters including organized crime, racketeering, fraud, tax evasion and white-collar crimes. Mr. Lee’s extensive prosecutorial experience includes misdemeanor matters like driving under the influence and assault through the most serious of cases.
Since forming Fuicelli & Lee, PC Mr. Lee has handled hundreds of cases in both Personal Injury and Criminal matters. His experience and credibility with both prosecutors and judges has helped him achieve outstanding results for his clients. Whether the case resulted in a favorable settlement or trial, John uses the skills he learned from his years of experience in criminal law to get results for his clients.
Denver personal injury attorney, Keith Fuicelli, partnered with John Lee to form Fuicelli & Lee, P.C. after experiencing first hand the lack of personal attention large law firms provide their clients. In too many cases, this lack of attention leads to mediocre results.
Fuicelli & Lee’s mission is straightforward: provide the highest level of legal representation and personal service for every client, every time.
Before forming Fuicelli & Lee, P.C., Keith worked as an attorney with one of the largest personal injury firms and one of the largest insurance defense firms in Colorado. Prior to that, he worked as a District Attorney in Jefferson County, Colorado eventually working in the Crimes Against Children Unit.
Keith has litigated a wide range of criminal and civil matters. He has conducted more than seventy five trials, argued before the Court of Appeals multiple times, and conducted numerous evidentiary hearings. This extensive trial experience is a true asset.
Mr. Fuicelli also brings a unique perspective to handling personal injury matters. In May of 2007 he was hit by a car while jogging and spent nearly two months in the hospital. When asked how the experience has affected him, Keith states:
“I suppose some of the more valuable lessons I learned from my ordeal help me relate and empathize with clients. Most people do not understand how vulnerable and terrifying it is going through a serious accident. Unless you have been through it, it is very difficult to comprehend the worry, self-doubt, and frustration that accompany serious injury. I think many people take for granted the ability to work and earn a living for their family until it is taken away. In my case, I was a hair away from not being able to do the job I truly love.”
Lorenz spent 19 years in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office, and she has a wealth of experience in homicide, juvenile and special victims cases. Most recently, she served as Senior Deputy District Attorney.

One year at United States Attorney’s Office; Project Safe Childhood
More than 150 jury trials ranging from traffic (DUI) to first-degree murder (of a child)
Three years focused on felony domestic violence
Eleven years specialized in felony crimes against children. In that capacity, she was part of the following organizations/committees:
Team leader of Special Victims Unit
Child Protection Team
Child Abduction Response Team
Conducted training for law enforcement agencies: Red Rocks Police Academy; Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department; Golden Police Department; Lakewood Police Department; probation officers; fellow prosecutors
Presented to Jefferson County DA’s Office and Golden Police Department “Citizens Academy”
Presented at Colorado District Attorney’s Council annual conference on topics of crimes against children and stalking; 2013 and 2016
Presented at Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance annual conference
“I have dedicated my practice to helping those who have been hurt by the actions of others,” said Lorenz. “I chose to work in crimes against children to pursue justice for our society’s most vulnerable victims. I take pride in the fact that I am able to help those families navigate the court system, knowing that they have a tireless advocate by their side. I look forward to continuing to serve victims and families in a different capacity at Fuicelli & Lee.”
