Nefertiti France

France Law Offices, P.C.

Nefertiti M. France began her legal career as a U.S. Air Force Paralegal in 1993, where she was introduced to Tort Law (property damage and personal injury). She is a person who is diligent, versatile, an effective communicator, mentor and ready for any challenge. In 2003, she decided to attend law school and began practicing family law after passing the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Exams in 2006. She represented clients in divorce, child custody, child support and spousal support/maintenance (alimony), estate planning and tort law/personal injury. She has extensive experience in handling highly sensitive and volatile cases. Her focus is to obtain the best result for her clients through amicable negotiations and/or mediation. She understands the emotional toll that divorces, custody disputes and personal injuries have on her clients and strives to reduce the stress and turmoil these processes cause.

Her experience in the different areas of law gives her a deeper insight into complex issues. Through her expertise in negotiation and mediation, most of her clients never see the inside of a courtroom until the final step in the process when the court's Order is issued. Although it is her goal to prevent the costly process of litigation, she understands there are some cases that must be litigated. In those cases, Nefertiti is a fierce litigator for her clients.

Nefertiti moved to Illinois in 2010 and challenged herself to take the Illinois State Bar Exam. Before taking the bar exam, she worked for a prominent insurance carrier, honing her skills in personal injury law. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association. She maintains her licenses to practice law in Illinois, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Nefertiti received a Certificate in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution after completing an intensive course hosted by the Illinois State Bar Association. She continues to seek additional certifications and experiences to be able to provide her clients effective legal advice, consulting services and counseling in a wide variety of areas.
