Firm Overview

The Foster Group was founded by Troy P. Foster. Mr. Foster has more than two decades of experience in law, human resources and mediation — all of which make him a powerful advocate for clients with employment law, human resources or health care legal challenges.

A fourth-generation Arizonan raised in Prescott, Mr. Foster graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 1996. He began his law career as a clerk for the Arizona Court of Appeals, then worked as an attorney for the Phoenix office of Lewis & Roca. He expanded his knowledge of human resources and employment law as vice president of HR Resolutions Group and Mediation. More recently, he served as human resources director, then general counsel for a large healthcare system.

Beyond his work as an attorney and human resources professional, Mr. Foster is a published author and has worked for Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis as an adjunct professor of law. He considers himself a family man first and an attorney second, and this worldview gives him the perspective on tough cases that allows him to suggest innovative and cost-effective solutions.

TFG's team also includes employment attorney Megan Weides. Ms. Weides' experience includes time working for the EEOC, which gives her a unique perspective in providing advice to all of her clients.

The most important members of TFG's team, however, are Christina Garcia and her team of service professionals. Ms. Garcia is the firm's lead paralegal and, in addition to her legal duties, she is focused on making sure your experience is top notch. Our service team delivers you the best experience during your most challenging times. That sets us apart.

Employment

All employment disputes are important. Whether it is harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace bullying or internal disputes. And whether it is already at the EEOC or just at a boiling point. TFG is here to help you navigate through it.

Beyond their experience as trial attorneys, TFG's lawyers have worked as HR executives, EEOC investigators, and as General legal Counsel for Arizona organizations. This provides the firm with a 360-degree view of the law surrounding employment matters. The firm represents both employees and employers in disputes involving:

Unpaid wages
Discrimination and harassment claims
Severance agreements
Conflicts over accommodations covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act
Wrongful termination
Employment contract issues
Internal investigations
Retaliation for reporting inappropriate behavior by an employer
Administrative disciplinary matters
False Claims Act matters (all whistle-blower cases)
The firm will advise you if mediation or litigation strategies are in your best interests to resolve your conflict.

Wrongful Termination

Losing your job can be one of the most traumatic and life-changing experiences. As your legal team, TFG will assist with your legal needs and solutions. Just as important, the firm provides you resources to help get you back on your feet.

In its lawyers' 25 years' of experience - exclusively in the employment law arena - TFG has represented those in wrongful termination claims for every thing that law recognizes. Discrimination, harassment, whistle-blower, retaliation, collective action wage claims, and Constitutionally-protected activity - are just a sampling of the wrongful termination claims that we have assisted our clients through.

We would be honored to serve you, and will earn your trust and respect. Each and every day.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Our firm treats each client's issue or case as a unique problem that we are here to solve. While you will find many excellent employment lawyers in Arizona, clients have told us time and again that our individualized service sets us apart from others. That is our goal with each representation.
