As a WKU college student and a young mother with a baby to support, Flora always wanted to make a difference in the world.
Before becoming a lawyer, Flora was a teacher. She worked her way through law school as a waitress, supporting her daughter.
As one of just of just a few women in the early 70's to attend law school, Flora became the first female attorney to try a case in court in Bowling Green.
Flora gained national notoriety with the representation of Marla Pitchford and her acquittal appeared on Good Morning America, Phil Donahue and media throughout the world.
Ms. Stuart has been recognized in Time Magazine, Newsweek, and Career Journal with appearances on Good Morning America and Phil Donahue.
