Matthew Eanet

Eanet, PC

Matt is the Managing Shareholder at Eanet, PC and manages a diverse case load that includes all forms of employment litigation and arbitration, trade secret litigation, and complex commercial litigation. With a background that includes extensive trial experience, including tenure as a military prosecutor and significant private practice exposure with an established national firm, Matt applies a proven track record for securing successful outcomes to every phase of litigation, from pre-trial counseling to aggressive advocacy at trial. He is focused on obtaining the best outcome for his clients, whether through settlement, motion practice, or through trial.

Before forming Eanet, PC, Matt was an attorney at Reeder Lu LLP, a Los Angeles-based litigation firm and a managing partner at Eanet McCreary, LLP. Prior to taking on that role, Matt served as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles, where he brought over 20 trials to verdict and was selected to serve in a highly selective City Attorney civil litigation program for troubled real property. Matt began his legal career with Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, LLP, the top-tier national law firm that recruited him out of law school.

Matt has been named a top attorney in the fields of employment and business litigation. He was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (Southern California) in 2013 and selected to Super Lawyers (Southern California) for the years 2015-2019. Matt was also honored by Pasadena Magazine as a "Top Attorney" in 2016.

From 2001 to 2014, Matt served in the U.S. Army Reserves first as a Bridge Crewmember (Combat Engineer) and most recently as a Judge Advocate General (JAG). From 2008 to 2009, Matt was deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the fourth highest ranking award given to brave or meritorious action in a combat zone.

In addition to his criminal and civil litigation experience, Matt has handled numerous adverse administrative personnel actions and courts martial. Matt serves as an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Attorney Client Fee Arbitration Service where he has adjudicated numerous fee disputes between attorneys and their clients.

Danielle G. Eanet is an experienced labor and employment attorney who counsels and represents clients in California and Federal courts on a wide range of employment law matters, including:

Danielle has significant litigation experience including complex-designated litigation and arbitration and has a demonstrated record of obtaining success for her clients before trial via law and motion, mediation, and settlement. She also handles disputes involving wage and hour claims, employee misclassification, termination appeal and disciplinary proceedings before state administrative agencies, arbitrators, and commissions. Among her notable successes, she has successfully tried employment cases in Los Angeles Superior Court obtaining verdicts in favor of her clients.

Danielle also has extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of employment issues including recruiting, hiring, employment agreements, worker classification and management, discipline and termination, severance and separation agreements, background checks, leaves, wage and hour compliance and employee safety as well as conducting employee investigations and employer trainings. She has also developed an expertise in building and implementing scalable, employment policies and programs that ensure legal compliance while mitigating risk.

Danielle also assists clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). She regularly drafts and negotiates employment, commission, arbitration, separation, proprietary information, non-solicitation, independent contractor and settlement agreements.

Prior to joining Eanet, PC, Danielle was an attorney with the Los Angeles Office of Littler Mendelson P.C., the world's largest employment law firm.
