Donna Bumgardner clerked for the Robert Anderson firm in Columbia, South Carolina for over 2 years. She was the Senior Clerk over 6 law clerks for the firm. Robert Anderson was a Bankruptcy attorney and a Chapter 7 Trustee for many years. While in the Senior Clerk position at the Anderson firm, Mrs. Bumgardner decided to make bankruptcy law her major focus of practice. It is and has always been her goal to help others who are suffering from financial problems. She has used the opportunities of the Bankruptcy Laws to save homes, vehicles and families. She has stopped wage and bank garnishments and helped to give her clients a fresh start.

Donna Bumgardner has a bachelor of science degree from the University of South Carolina, School of Business Administration, where she graduated cum laude. She was a personnel director for a large hospital prior to attending the University of South Carolina School of Law. Attorney Bumgardner served as a law clerk to Federal Bankruptcy Judge Raymond B. Ray prior to his accepting his position on the bench. She served as a Chapter 7 Trustee for the Southern District of Florida for over 8 years. During her career, Mrs. Bumgardner has served on numerous committees and has participated in the Broward Bankruptcy Bar as a panel member. Attorney Bumgardner is also a Certified Mediator for the State Court and the Bankruptcy Court. She is a former Guardian ad Litem serving as an advocate for children in the Family Court system. Mrs. Bumgardner has lived in South Florida for over 30 years with her family. She has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
