David N. Darnell is a native of east Tennessee where he and his wife, Stacie have raised their three sons in the Fall Branch Community. Mr. Darnell is a graduate of Daniel Boone High School with honors, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, graduating Cum Laude. He received his legal training at the University of Memphis School of Law receiving his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1997.
He is a proud Tennessee "Volunteer" fan and has continuously provided legal services to the businesses and people of upper East Tennessee for over 18 years with his practice focused on business litigation, estate planning/probate, Chapter 13 Bankruptcy law, Long Term and Short Term Disability appeals, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability advocacy.
Mr. Darnell practices in all state courts and is admitted to practice at the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Tax Court, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee.
Mr. Darnell is a member of the Kingsport Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars in the areas of disability and probate law.
