-Corporate Bankruptcy

-Bankruptcy and Business Reorganization: Implementation of all forms of business reorganization including Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state court supervised assignments for the benefit of creditors, out-of-court workouts, and Chapter 7 liquidations. The firm also has expertise in the protection and enforcement of the rights of secured creditors, and in all aspects of the area of personal bankruptcy.

-Corporate/Partners: Consultation as to the benefits and drawbacks of all forms of business entities, with the ability to implement all legal business decisions ranging from the relatively simple act of incorporation to sophisticated and complex transactions such mergers, dissolutions, and business sales or purchases.

-Appellate: Successful prosecution of appeals in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States District Court (from Bankruptcy Court proceedings), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

-Litigation: The firm's attorneys have substantial experience in most areas of commercial litigation. Additionally, the firm has successfully handled very complex construction litigation as well as routine, but important, business litigation such as insurance claims, collection or receivables, and construction lien and bond enforcement.

-Real Estate: The firm routinely handles all normal personal and commercial real estate transactions. Whether the transaction is the sale or purchase of a home, the lease of a commercial building, or the tax-free transfer of the property into an investment partnership, corporation, or limited liability company, it is accomplished with the skill acquired from years of experience.
