Darlina C. Crowder

Darlina Crowder is president of The Crowder Law Firm in Plano, Texas, practicing primarily in criminal defense since 2000. She received her J.D. in 1998 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, where she was chosen by classmates to speak at their Hooding Ceremony. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in General Science, from Texas Woman's University in 1995. Admitted to the Texas bar in 1999 and Admitted to The United States Court of Appeals for The Fifth Circuit. Ms. Crowder has also been licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court's Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas since 1999. Over her career, she has received over 250 acquittals. In 2004, Ms. Crowder teamed up with Robert Udashen to represent Lisa Diaz in a case that drew national attention, as Ms. Diaz was charged with capital murder for drowning her two children. However, the Udashen-Crowder team was successful and Ms. Diaz was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Ms. Crowder's experience now also includes service behind the bench. She was appointed in 2013 as an Associate Judge in Collin County Probate Court, presiding over mental health hearings.

Ms. Crowder has also received a number of honors. She was selected for Texas Monthly's, "Super Lawyers Rising Stars" list in March 2005, March 2006 & March 2007 and for its "Texas Super Lawyers" list in October & September 2009. In June 2007 & 2008, Ms. Crowder was also the recipient of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association's Presidential Award. In 2021, she was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Criminal Defense by The National Trial Lawyers. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (as Associate Director, 2007-2008) and for the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (2000). She has also served as a Secretary/Treasurer (2001) and Vice President (2002-2003) for the Collin County Criminal Bench Bar Foundation since 1999, and as Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation since 2007. She is also a member of the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers College, the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Aubrey K. Noonan

Aubrey K. Noonan is a passionate criminal defense trial attorney who is dedicated to representing individuals in all state and federal matters including investigations, trials, and appeals. She has focused her professional career on helping those accused of crimes. She has handled almost every type of misdemeanor and felony. Cases from DWI's, assaults, thefts, to felony sexual assaults and crimes against children cases.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Noonan graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of North Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Political Science.

Ms. Noonan received her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. She was a Staff Member and served as the Executive Comment Editor of Tech Law's Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal. Her article on Bitcoins and estate planning was selected for publication in the EPJ journal. While at Tech Law, she served as the State Bar of Texas's Senior Law School Representative. Ms. Noonan also worked for the Lubbock County District Attorney's Office, for Tarrant County Criminal District Courts' Judicial Staff Counsel, and then for Hurley, Guinn & Sellers, a criminal defense firm in Lubbock, Texas, prior to graduation.

After receiving her law degree, Ms. Noonan went to work for Tom Mills and Christie Williams at Mills & Williams, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas. While at the firm, she had the opportunity to work with the partners on numerous federal and state criminal cases across Texas. She was able to assist in the high-profile federal jury trial, U.S. v. John Wiley Price et al., in which he and co-defendant Dapheny Fain were acquitted of all charges.

Ms. Noonan is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court's Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Young Lawyers Association, and the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In 2021, Aubrey received The Top 40 Under 40 award from The National Trial Lawyers. The award is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those trial lawyers practicing civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense law.
