Corson Law Offices, LLC was founded thirty-nine years ago by Steven M. Corson who is still an active partner in the office today. He opened the law office in Preston, Minnesota in 1979 and opened the Stewartville office in 2002. In 2003, Eric S. Corson, Steve's oldest son, began working with Corson Law Offices, LLC, and in 2005 he became a partner and co-owner. In 2010, Justin S. Corson, Steve's second oldest son, began working with Corson Law Offices, LLC and in 2013 he became a partner and co-owner.

Steven Corson

National Merit Scholarship Finalist, Steve attended the University of Minnesota where he obtained two degrees before obtaining his Doctorate of Law from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. In 1978 Steve founded Corson Law Office in Preston, Minnesota, and added the Stewartville office several years later.

Steve has acted as counselor to several small cities, townships, and school districts over the years.

Noteworthy cases in which Steve acted as counsel in the last twenty years include the following:

-$6.8 million personal injury recovery
-$960,000 judgment for inadequate medical care
-A successful appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court to obtain compensation for a land owner under an inverse condemnation action for property taken by a governmental unit

Justin Corson

Justin Corson graduated from Saint Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis with a degree of Juris Doctor. He has practiced law since early 2010.

Justin is a current member of the State of Minnesota Bar Association. He is licensed in Minnesota Federal Court. Before becoming licensed Justin worked closely with the other two attorney's at Corson Law Offices on many of their cases and has gained much experience in the last eight years. Justin primarily works on family law and estate law.

Justin's philosophy is to provide good value for the client's dollar. In a profession where it is easy to lose sight of the client's objective without being distracted by the billable hours, Justin has shown himself to be able to remain objective and get the client the greatest outcome. Also, he makes great efforts to communicate with each client efficiently and clearly the important information for their individual case.
