If you're reading my profile, you may be going through some of the most difficult experiences of your life. Dealing with domestic matters is often very stressful but having effective and experienced legal representation can make all the difference.
I'm highly experienced and represent clients in the following practice areas: all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody child support, domestic violence, kinship guardianship and adoption. In addition, I represent parents, foster parents and others involved in child protective services cases. I also represent clients in the enforcement of existing court orders.
I've been practicing law for thirty-five years with an emphasis in matters involving children and families. My experience is extensive and includes prosecuting child abuse cases in the District Attorney's Office, serving as a Domestic Violence Hearing Officer, and representing clients in all aspects of family law and child welfare law. I have represented all sides in abuse and neglect cases involving children who have been taken into state custody with allegations that they have been abused or neglected. I worked as an attorney for Child Protective Services ( Children, Youth and Families Department), and I currently represent children as guardian ad litem, parents of children in the system, and foster parents and others with an interest in the children's welfare.
I'm an experienced litigator and I have excellent courtroom skills. Although settlement minded, I'll always fight hard for you.
I'm compassionate and responsive, usually answering phone calls and emails within twenty-four hours depending on my court schedules.
Please get in touch so that we can plan the best way to navigate your experience with the legal system.
