How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Mr. Carbino graduated cum laude from the Delaware Law School at Widener University in 1992. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Carbino served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John C. Cook, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee, August 8, 1992 through October 29, 1993, and subsequently served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Stephen Raslavich, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, November 1, 1993 through June 16, 1996. Upon completion of his judicial clerkships, Mr. Carbino joined Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling, P.C. which through a merger became Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, P.C., where he worked for 15 years. Mr. Carbino is now a partner at CKR Law LLP and continues to represent individuals in need of relief in bankruptcy court under the same fee schedule that he charged as a sole practitioner. Every client's circumstatnces are taken into consideration.
Mr. Carbino has served as a Board Member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project and has represented individuals in need of pro bono assistance in consumer bankruptcy cases. Mr. Carbino has also represented the indigent as a Philly VIP volunteer in various matters in the Court of Common Pleas, Family Court and Landlord-Tenant Court in Philadelphia County. Mr. Carbino is admitted to the state courts of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and the District Court of Delaware, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
